The World Bank Institute aims to assist various training institutions in South Asia to establish training programs on Social Accountability (Sac) and proposes to increase the number of social accountability specialists who can apply their skills for improved policies, budget and procurement oversight, and better governance and service delivery.

As a part of this initiative the WBI is using an online platform for institutions and individuals to share materials on Sac. The material/literature connected to Sac is being hosted on the SASANET website and has been categorized into six folders corresponding to the six core content topics

1. Conceptual Framework
2. Enabling Environment
3. Budget Literacy and SAC Tools
4. Strategic Communication
5. Sastainability
6. Impact Assessmentmonitoring and Evalution

Institutions and individuals are requested to exchange views and literature on Sac with others through this website.
